Nestled at the foot of Mount Attavyros, the highest peak of Rhodes, Embonas Village sits at an altitude of 700 meters and is located just 54 km from Rhodes Town. The name “Embonas” comes from the ancient Greek word ambon, meaning “mountain slope.”
